Welcome to The Exmoor Federation
West Somerset is one of the few areas of the country that operates a three tier education system. Here our children attend a first school from 5-9 years, a middle school from 9-13 years and an upper school for ages 13-18. The Exmoor Federation consists of three schools; Exford First School, All Saints First School in Dulverton and Dulverton Middle and Community School. We work closely with Dulverton Children's Centre also which is adjacent to All Saints School. Working together enables us to provide a consecutive and unique education for the children of Exmoor aged 0-13 years. At all stages across the curriculum the schools within The Exmoor Federation use the environment of Exmoor to support teaching and learning. We work closely with Exmoor National Park Authority to provide outdoor learning opportunities. Our environment is a great educational resource and we take every chance to utilise it and give the children of Exmoor the best educational experience possible.
